Northern Operations within Second Life

[N-O] Northern Operations

Is it truly SL Grid Wide fishing?
Yes. Everything is built directly into the rod. No bait, no buoys to find — just stay within 8m height of SL water (including raised water up to 80m in some regions).
My score rises then suddenly drops again.
Check your catches. There is a 0.3% chance of catching something that attacks your catch and escapes (“bite back”).

In sea fishing these include: Salt Water Crocodile, Moray Eel, Shark, Mer Person, or Otter.

They can take a random amount up to 10lb but will never remove all your fish. They miss if you have less than 10lb total weight or less than 10lb in a competition.
Can I have more than one fishing server in a region?
As of V2.0 you no longer need a fishing server. Everything is built into the rod.
Do you give out prizes?
Yes. Trophies are awarded for the biggest catches of the week.
Do you give out prize money?
No. This is a low-cost system with only the upfront rod purchase. Any income goes directly into custom trophies, mesh fish, plaques, and free system improvements.
